Üç Güzeller: the Three Beauties near Ürgüp

A fairy-chimney viewing stop and its connection to the local dolmuş route.

The Three Beauties

Üç Güzeller is a group of three neighbouring fairy chimneys near Ürgüp. The Ministry describes a viewing area with a wooden walkway, making the formations and the surrounding landscape the focus of a sightseeing stop.

Shape your visit

Combine the stop with time in Ürgüp, or include it in a broader day with agreed transport. Leave space to enjoy the viewing area rather than relying on a photograph taken from a passing vehicle. Follow the visitor paths and any instructions at the site.

By dolmuş from Ürgüp

The Avanos-bound line supplied by Gökhan follows this sequence: Ürgüp → Üç Güzeller → Göreme Open-Air Museum → Göreme → Çavuşin → Paşabağ → Zelve Open-Air Museum → Avanos. Tell the driver that you want Üç Güzeller and confirm where to get off and where to board for your next journey.

Departures are once an hour, on the hour, from the line’s starting point. These are not the passing times at each stop. Check the expected time at Üç Güzeller and the first/last service locally. No dolmuş fares are published here.

If you are starting in Göreme

From Göreme, take the Ürgüp-bound dolmuş coming from Avanos. Board at the stop by the Göreme Open-Air Museum junction in central Göreme, and tell the driver you want to get off at Üç Güzeller. Confirm the passing time locally.

Continuing to Devrent

Devrent Valley needs a separate taxi or Red Tour arrangement. No dolmuş passes Devrent, so the line serving Üç Güzeller should not be presented as a connection to it.

A meal in Ürgüp

Gökhan’s suggestion is Ürgüp Pide ve Kebap Salonu in the bus-terminal area. Plan the return journey before settling in for a meal.
